17:10 Patient Survey (produced in-house at DMC)
Data and feedback were shared during the meeting, with over 43% of patients rating DMC primary care as excellent and 35% as good.
17:15 Recruiting more clinical and admin staff
The recruitment process for additional clinical and admin staff is underway. This expansion aims to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the practice
17:20 Recruitment of Katy as Lead Nurse and increased F2F consultations
Katy has been recruited as the new Lead Nurse. This appointment will support increased face-to-face consultations, ensuring quality care and timely access for patients.
17:30 Admin Staff training
Admin staff have recently attended a Federation level event for reception training. This training aims to improve reception services and ensure a seamless patient experience
17:40 Prescription Process
The practice manager addressed the ongoing prescription issue where patients visit the pharmacist and discover that their online prescription is not available. The matter was raised again on 6th July, and efforts are being made to resolve this problem promptly to avoid any inconvenience to patients
17:50 Website update and the NHS app
OM discussed the initiative to enhance the practice's websites. This includes updating and improving the content, making it more user-friendly and informative for patients. The team was informed about the promotion of the NHS App to patients. It was emphasized that utilizing the app can provide convenient access to healthcare services and relevant information.

Explained about new posters and premises improvements across both sites The practice manager provided an update on the installation of new posters and ongoing premises improvements at both sites. These enhancements aim to create a welcoming environment for patients and enhance their overall experience.
